AN ACT Relating to making transportation projects on state-owned highways subject to certain contracting conditions; amending RCW 39.12.015 ; adding a new section to chapter 47.04 RCW; and adding a new section to chapter 39.12 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 47.04 RCW to read as follows:

Contracts for transportation projects on state-owned highways must be bid or awarded in compliance with prevailing wages established under section 2 of this act.
