AN ACT Relating to travel insurance; amending RCW 48.17.060 and 48.43.005 ; adding a new section to chapter 48.30 RCW; adding a new chapter to Title 48 RCW; and providing an effective date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. (1) The purpose of this chapter is to promote the public welfare by creating a comprehensive legal framework within which travel insurance may be sold in this state.
