AN ACT Relating to incentivizing child care providers to care for children of first responders through a pilot program that utilizes state and nonstate resources; amending RCW 82.14.345 ; and adding a new section to chapter 43.31 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 43.31 RCW to read as follows:

(1)(a) Subject to the availability of amounts appropriated for this specific purpose, the department shall establish a pilot program to incentivize and make child care more accessible to first responders.
