AN ACT Relating to providing a property tax exemption for qualifying housing used as a residency by tenants meeting certain disability criteria; adding a new section to chapter 84.36 RCW; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 84.36 RCW to read as follows:

(1) The assessed valuation of qualifying housing must be reduced by $50,000 for each qualifying tenant occupying the qualifying housing, subject to the conditions and requirements of this section.
