AN ACT Relating to prevention of and remedies for human trafficking; amending RCW 7.98.020 ; reenacting and amending RCW 42.56.240 ; adding new sections to chapter 9A.40 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 9A.40 RCW to read as follows:

BUSINESS ENTITY LIABILITY. (1) A person that is a business entity may be prosecuted for an offense under RCW 9A.40.100 or 9A.40.110 only if:
