AN ACT Relating to removing the requirement that women's commission members be subject to senate confirmation; and amending RCW 43.119.020 .

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

Sec. 1. RCW 43.119.020 and 2018 c 98 s 3 are each amended to read as follows:

(1) The Washington state women's commission shall consist of nine members appointed by the governor (( with the advice and consent of the senate )).
