AN ACT Relating to creating an advisory committee on electric vehicle charger infrastructure property crime; reenacting and amending RCW 42.56.270 ; creating a new section; and providing an expiration date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. (1) Subject to the availability of amounts appropriated in the omnibus transportation appropriations act for this specific purpose, the interagency electric vehicle coordinating council created under RCW 43.392.030 , through its industry electric vehicle advisory committee or another appropriate ad hoc committee, must address electric vehicle charger infrastructure property crime. For purposes of this section, the committee may include the following additional members:

(a) One representative of the Washington state attorney general's office;
