AN ACT Relating to transferring ownership of the Naselle Youth Camp property to the Chinook Indian Nation; amending RCW 28A.190.005 and 72.05.010 ; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The legislature intends to transfer ownership of the Naselle Youth Camp property to the Chinook Indian Nation in order to realize the highest and best use of an underutilized asset for the local community and the people. By October 1, 2025, the department of enterprise services must execute an agreement to transfer title of the property from the state to the Chinook Indian Nation without further consideration if the Chinook Indian Nation agrees to maintain ownership of the property for a minimum of 10 years and to use the property for tribal government purposes.

Sec. 2. RCW 28A.190.005 and 2021 c 164 s 3 are each amended to read as follows:
