WHEREAS, Dr. Joey A. Collins has earned distinction as an Assistant Professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Seattle Pacific University, where his teaching, research, and professional practice have advanced organizational leadership and human development; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Collins oversees a robust research program focused on executive coaching and leadership, contributing to scholarly understanding and practical application in the areas of transformational leadership, sales performance, and enhancing coaching conversations; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Collins' specialties include organizational development consulting, executive coaching, Gestalt approaches, and change management, bringing innovative research and evidence-based practice to organizations and leaders; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Collins' consulting engagements frequently commence in the C-suite and extend to teams and entire organizations, reflecting his commitment to systemic organizational growth and strategic development; and

WHEREAS, His professional impact is demonstrated through collaborations with leading public and private sector organizations; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Collins' training includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Veterans Health Administration National Center for Organization Development, enhancing his capability to deliver effective organizational development interventions grounded in rigorous practice; and

WHEREAS, In addition to his academic and consulting accomplishments, Dr. Collins brings his leadership talents and competitive spirit to national athletic competitions in tennis and triathlons, demonstrating a dedication to personal excellence in both professional and personal arenas; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Collins' distinguished service as a scholar–practitioner embodies the highest ideals of leadership, scholarship, and community engagement, bringing great honor to himself, Seattle Pacific University, and the broader academic and professional community;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives hereby honor Dr. Joey A. Collins for his exemplary contributions to the field of industrial and organizational psychology, his leadership in executive coaching and organizational development, and his service to students, organizations, and communities across diverse sectors; and
