AN ACT Relating to the creation of a statewide registry for locations where individuals are incarcerated or involuntarily confined in Washington; adding new sections to chapter 43.70 RCW; prescribing penalties; and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 43.70 RCW to read as follows:

(1) The department shall create a statewide registry for detention facilities operating in Washington. The registry must, at a minimum, include the following information for each facility:
