AN ACT Relating to clarifying the scope of authority of the office of independent investigations to align with current operations and practices and to include public disclosure requirements and protect privacy; amending RCW 43.102.030 , 43.102.080 , and 43.102.120 ; reenacting and amending RCW 43.102.010 and 42.56.240 ; and adding a new section to chapter 43.102 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

Sec. 1. RCW 43.102.010 and 2024 c 64 s 1 are each reenacted and amended to read as follows:

The definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter unless the context clearly requires otherwise.
