AN ACT Relating to preparing for a legal interstate cannabis market; amending RCW 69.50.325 , 69.50.348 , 43.06.495 , and 69.50.401 ; amending 2023 c 264 s 2 (uncodified); adding a new section to chapter 69.50 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 69.50 RCW to read as follows:

(1) Upon the occurrence of a legal interstate cannabis market, prior to sale at retail, any cannabis, useable cannabis, cannabis-infused products, or cannabis concentrates sold into or brought into Washington from another state, country, or other jurisdiction must:
