AN ACT Relating to modifying shared leave provisions to authorize shared leave for victims of a hate crime and those whose absence is due to immigration enforcement actions against the employee or the employee's relative; and amending RCW 41.04.665 , 41.04.655 , and 41.04.660 .

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

Sec. 1. RCW 41.04.665 and 2020 c 6 s 2 are each amended to read as follows:

(1) An agency head may permit an employee to receive leave under this section if:
