AN ACT Relating to increasing regulatory oversight of continuing care retirement communities; amending RCW 18.390.010 , 18.390.030 , 18.390.040 , 18.390.050 , and 48.02.065 ; adding a new section to chapter 18.390 RCW; adding a new section to chapter 48.02 RCW; and providing an effective date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

Sec. 1. RCW 18.390.010 and 2016 c 183 s 1 are each amended to read as follows:

The definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter unless the context clearly requires otherwise.
