AN ACT Relating to tourism promotion areas; amending RCW 35.101.057 ; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The legislature finds that the use of the additional assessment on the furnishing of lodging authorized by RCW 35.101.057 has grown tourism. The intent of this legislation is to permit the additional assessment to continue in a timely manner, so that the growth of the tourism sector can continue.

Sec. 2. RCW 35.101.057 and 2020 c 215 s 2 are each amended to read as follows:
