AN ACT Relating to updates to the licensing division of the department of children, youth, and families; amending RCW 74.15.125 , 74.13.289 , 74.15.020 , 74.15.100 , 74.15.030 , 43.185C.295 , 43.216.305 , 43.216.325 , and 43.216.822 ; reenacting and amending RCW 74.15.020 ; providing an effective date; and providing an expiration date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

Sec. 1. RCW 74.15.125 and 2023 c 127 s 1 are each amended to read as follows:

(1) The department may issue a probationary license to a licensee who has had a license but is temporarily unable to comply with a rule or has been the subject of multiple complaints or concerns about noncompliance if:
