AN ACT Relating to the recognition of legal personhood by a governmental entity; and adding a new section to chapter 42.04 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 42.04 RCW to read as follows:

(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a governmental entity may not grant legal personhood to, or recognize legal personhood in, any:
