AN ACT Relating to enforcement actions for property damage of electric vehicle charging stations; adding a new section to chapter 46.61 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 46.61 RCW to read as follows:

(1) It is a violation of this section if a person with criminal intent causes an interruption or impairment of service of an electric vehicle charging station through cutting wires, damaging or tampering with its operation, or stealing it, to be punished in the following manner:
