AN ACT Relating to establishing criminal and civil penalties for destruction of critical communications infrastructure; amending RCW 9A.82.010 ; reenacting and amending RCW 9.94A.515 ; adding new sections to chapter 9A.56 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

Sec. 1. RCW 9A.82.010 and 2024 c 301 s 27 are each amended to read as follows:

Unless the context requires the contrary, the definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter.
