AN ACT Relating to tracking Washington application for state financial aid award amounts; and adding a new section to chapter 28B.92 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 28B.92 RCW to read as follows:

(1) Beginning with the 2025-26 academic year, the office shall track the amount of state aid awarded to each student who receives funds through the Washington application for state financial aid. The total award amounts collected must be made publicly available on the office's website.
