AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE

A BILL to amend and reenact § 15.2-2316.9 of the Code of Virginia and to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 7.3 of Chapter 22 of Title 15.2 a section numbered 15.2-2316.10 , relating to siting of battery energy storage projects; commercial solar photovoltaic generation facilities; permitted accessory use.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 15.2-2316.9 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted and that the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 7.3 of Chapter 22 of Title 15.2 a section numbered 15.2-2316.10 as follows:
§ 15.2-2316.9 . Effect of executed siting agreement; land use approval.
