AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE

A BILL to amend and reenact §§ 2.2-3711 , as it is currently effective and as it shall become effective, 23.1-700 , 23.1-701 , 23.1-704 , and 23.1-706 of the Code of Virginia and to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Chapter 2 of Title 23.1 an article numbered 5, consisting of sections numbered 23.1-235 and 23.1-236 , and by adding a section numbered 23.1-707.2 , relating to Commonwealth Savers Plan; Virginia College Opportunity Fund established; report.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That §§ 2.2-3711 , as it is currently effective and as it shall become effective, 23.1-700 , 23.1-701 , 23.1-704 , and 23.1-706 of the Code of Virginia are amended and reenacted and that the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 2 of Title 23.1 an article numbered 5, consisting of sections numbered 23.1-235 and 23.1-236 , and by adding a section numbered 23.1-707.2 as follows:
