Celebrating the life of Mildred Harlow Scott.

WHEREAS, Mildred Harlow Scott, who touched countless lives through her passion for civic engagement and volunteer service, died on March 6, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Mildred Scott was best known for her skill as a baker and brought joy to many through her craft; over the course of her life, she auctioned 88 cakes, several of which sold for hundreds of dollars; and
WHEREAS, Mildred Scott was an exemplar of community leadership who worked diligently to uphold the democratic process as an election official and had served as assistant treasurer for the Town of Vinton; and
