WHEREAS, Beth Sholom Temple, established on May 26, 1936, has served as a center of Jewish life, worship, education, and community in the Greater Fredericksburg area for 90 years; and
WHEREAS, Beth Sholom Temple is affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism and welcomes individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including Jews by birth and Jews by choice, interfaith families, and individuals of all ages and abilities; and
WHEREAS, Beth Sholom Temple fulfills its mission as a beit knesset , or “house of gathering,” by fostering fellowship and engagement through congregational life and youth and community organizations; and
