HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 30
Commending Broadwater Academy.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, January 26, 2026
WHEREAS, Broadwater Academy, a distinguished educational institution in Exmore that serves students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, was named the best independent kindergarten through 12th grade school in the Eastern Virginia region by Virginia Living magazine in 2025; and
WHEREAS, for more than a half-century, Broadwater Academy has fulfilled its mission by cultivating the next generation of respectful, civic-minded leaders and productive citizens; and
WHEREAS, Broadwater Academy's challenging and comprehensive curriculum and programs push students to achieve their best, preparing them for success both in and out of the classroom; and
WHEREAS, Broadwater Academy is led by talented and dedicated administrators and faculty members who work tirelessly to promote the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students; and
WHEREAS, Broadwater Academy is greatly supported by the many families whose children attend the school, as well as the broader Eastern Shore community; and
WHEREAS, Broadwater Academy's accomplishment earned the school special recognitions through official correspondence from both Governor Glenn Youngkin and United States Representative Jennifer Kiggans; and
