AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE

A BILL to direct the Board of Education to, during its next regularly scheduled revision of the history and social science Standards of Learning and Curriculum Framework, include quality, accurate, and complete instruction on the contributions and roles of all peoples included in such Standards of Learning; report.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Board of Education (the Board) shall:
1. During its next regularly scheduled revision of the history and social science Standards of Learning and Curriculum Framework, review and, if necessary, update or supplement such Standards of Learning and Curriculum Framework to ensure the inclusion of quality, accurate, and complete instruction on the contributions and roles of all peoples included in the history and social science Standards of Learning and Curriculum Framework; and
