SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 29

Whereas, the St. Louis Public School District has been under the authority of a Special

Administrative Board since 2007; and

Whereas, the Special Administrative Board is set to expire in 2019; and

Whereas, this transfer in administrative authority was intended to be temporary; and

Whereas, on a date set by the State Board of Education, any district operating under the governance

of a special administrative board shall return to local governance, and continue operation as a school district

as otherwise authorized by law; and
