AN ACT relating to battery stewardship.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:
SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF SUBCHAPTER 50 OF KRS CHAPTER 224 IS CREATED TO
READ AS FOLLOWS:
(1) As used in this section and Section 2 of this Act:
(a) "Battery-containing product":
1. Means a product that contains or is packaged with a covered battery; and
