AN ACT relating to energy production and byproduct management.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:
SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 353 IS CREATED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
The purposes of Sections 1 to 24 of this Act are to:
(1) Establish a legal and regulatory framework for the development and approval of underground carbon
dioxide sequestration facilities;
(2) Designate a government agency responsible for establishing standards and promulgating administrative
