AN ACT relating to the Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:
Section 1. KRS 161.520 is amended to read as follows:
Upon the death of an active contributing member or upon the death of a member retired for disability, except as
provided in KRS 161.661(6), the survivors of the deceased member in the following named order, may elect to
receive a survivor's benefit payable as follows:
