AN ACT relating to prison educational programs.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 197 IS CREATED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

(1) The Kentucky Community and Technical College System Prison Education Program, or KCTCS Prison

Education Program, is hereby established within the department to provide inmates with intensive, hands-

on job training in high-demand workforce sectors.
