WHEREAS, The Seattle Seahawks, founded in 1976, have proudly represented the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest in the National Football League for 50 seasons, having won 12 division titles, three conference championships, and Super Bowl 48, becoming a fixture on the field and in the community; and
